Walking back to the Super Sonic transporter between sessions

Racing runs on money. That is the unfortunate, unavoidable truth of motorsports.

Finding sponsors for a junior racer is essentially a full-time job. You are not just asking for a handout; you have to build a brand and prove that you can deliver value to the companies that put their name on the fairings.

Thankfully, running a web design agency (JB Web Design) gives me an edge. I’m the media guy for Jäger Stockill Racing — managing his social, cutting reels from his footage, and keeping his online presence professional is a huge part of the hustle.

But it’s a grind. It means sending dozens of emails, making phone calls, and constantly looking for local businesses who want to support youth sports.

That photo at the top is the walk back to the Super Sonic Road Race School transporter between sessions. It never makes a highlight reel, but it is closer to what a sponsor is actually buying into than any podium shot.

When a company like Gryphon Moto or a local partner steps up, it means everything. Every sticker on that Ohvale represents someone who believes in the dream.

As a dad, you want your kid to focus on hitting apexes, not worrying about the tire budget. But teaching a young racer how to shake hands, thank his sponsors on camera, and represent a brand professionally is a crucial part of his development. In modern racing, being fast is only half the job.
